Aloe collenetteae Lavranos

This species is native to Oman. (Ref. POWO; 2023). There are 5 species of Aloe found in Oman. (Ref. Oman Botanic Garden).

A succulent , perennial herb . Stems up to 1 . 20 m long . Leaves succulent , with a smooth surface , 5-7 in an open rosette , spreading or pendent , ensiform and often falcate , tapering to a sharp point , bright green with a few pale spots , to 50 cm long and 5 cm broad at base , margins with white , cartilaginous teeth , 0 . 5 mm long and 10 mm apart but obsolete above . Inflorescences at first descending , then upcurved , to 40 cm long , usually bearing 2-3 lateral branches ; racemes erect , short , laxly few-flowered ; bracts 2-4 mm long ; pedicels 5-6 mm long . Flowers red , glabrous , 20 mm long , cylindrical and slightly constricted at the mouth , outer segments free for 7 mm . Fruit capsule , 12 mm long . Sap clear , drying yellow . (Ref .
